"While traveling from Austin to Salt Lake, we experienced electrical problems as we approached Lamesa, TX around 5pm. Advanced Auto Repair was able to get us in and evaluate the problem early the next morning discovering the alternator had failed. They drove 60 miles to Lubbock to get a replacement and got us back on the road by afternoon. They even gave us a car to use. Their willingness to get us in right away was huge as we were so far from home. I highly recommend Advanced Auto Repair because of their consideration for our circumstances, their skill as a repair shop, and their friendliness."
"Very poor skills. Did not diagnose my truck's problem, just started replacing parts. Good parts that were not necessary. After changing batteries ( mine were just tested and less than 6 months old ) they suggested replacing the engine, maybe a bad starter. After switching the starter, they suggested replacing the engine. I took it to another shop. The a/c compressor had seized. Replaced and starts fine. These people did not test anything, just replace parts. They are NOT mechanics or anything close to technician... Steer clear."
