"The big blonde at Shipleys sucks, sorry they dont have name tags... Theres maybe 15 people here, the little blond got us our drinks, was super friendly. We finished them and sat and waited for the little blond to get done with her break because the other 2 girls didnt acknowledge we exsited. My husband even went and asked the big blond for a couple drinks for us and still, we sat here til the little blond came back... they werent busy, we werent rude to them, I dont understand working in public service and completely ignoring people. Im pretty sure the owner is paying both the big blond and big dark haired girl to do a job... oh well. We used to tell our friends they had to get a shipley burger anytime they came to town (if we didnt take them down there ourselves), but we will never recommend this place again."
"Burgers here are best in town. Fresh, crunchy and the drinks are good. Large pichers of beer for great price. Ladies here work hard, but are super friendly. The locals love interacting with them and the atmosphere is fun."
"It's a decent bar to grab a cold drink and some good bar food. Typical bar menu of burgers, chicken straps, fried foods, etc. The drinks were poured well, but not overpoured, the Shipley's bacon burger was so thick it barely fit in my mouth! The quality to cost ratio was definitely fair, if not on the side of a good deal for the customer. The reasons it's a 4 star review is 1) it's a little on the dirty side with the fridge, grill and fryer right in plain view, and I asked the bartender if they made a good Old Fashioned as it was on their drink menu, she said it was good, but was easily the worst I ever had. I stuck with the Captain and Coke after that!"
