Tire Shop 24/7 ROAD SERVICE

"It’s nearly impossible to find a tire shop open on Sunday, so I played with fate, and got a dose of bad medicine! If you are reading this RUN! RIGHT NOW! I grew up in Alief, and know what to expect, for the most part, from a place like this. Upon arrival, the owner immediately tries to tell me the tire is no good because the outer side wall had been scuffed and that the rim was bad, because it had a kink. I told him to please just patch the flat. He kept trying to upsell me, and then reluctantly told me it would be $25 for the patch, and that didn’t include balancing. I made him agree to balance it for the $25. The tire gets patched, remounted, and balanced. When I get home with the tire and put it on my mother-in-law’s car, I realize the tire was mounted with the outside sidewall facing inward. I take it back to get the problem corrected, and he tries to argue that the tire was remounted how I had brought it in. However, I mentioned the scuffed sidewall was now facing inward, at which point, he tries to argue that the tire doesn’t have to be mounted as the label suggests, and that I was just being picky. I told him I had video of all the other tires being mounted in the correct suggested manner, and that this was the first time since we bought the car new, in 2022, from the dealership, that any of the wheels had been removed. Disgruntled, he agrees to remount the tire correctly, but persists to be very aggressive with the change, and damages the rim, seemingly on purpose. I do not understand how there could have been so much damage, if it wasn’t on purpose. The machines are likely inferior as well. The last four cars I have purchased were all new, from the dealership, so it is easy to spot when and where new damage is accumulated. Do yourself a favor, if it is not dire, just AVOID this spot. I now have to take the wheel to a legit place to get another balance, since he didn’t balance the wheel after flipping the tire around. I already had to go to that shop twice, and so it’ll be a total of 3 trips to the tire shop, just for one simple tire patch. I’m included pictures of the wheel and all the DAMAGE! Don’t run from this place, floor the pedal of that car out of there, flat tires and all!"
