"The food was amazing. The biscuits were SO delicious especially the berry and strawberry butter. Our waitress, Mylene, was absolutely wonderful. Service was fast, our drinks and food were served quickly. We made a reservation, which I highly recommend so you can avoid waiting long."

"WALK OFF IN THE 14th TO WIN THE GAME!! Great job by Chip and Jojo at this longstanding Waco institution. Formerly the Elite Cafe, it’s been turned into a fabulous, modernized restaurant. The decor is wonderful and sort of French chic. I had the pancakes and COULD NOT FINISH THEM!! The bacon is good but not great. The flight of butter is outstanding!! Loved the maple, cinnamon, chive, and honey. Biscuits are flaky and buttery as well. Everyone loved their dishes. Go early and try to get reservations. It’s worth it!!"

"It's such a pretty place, so peaceful and relaxing. The food was great. The server was very accommodating. Good customer service and good food! Very clean bathrooms, love all the plants decor. It was such a good vibe. Definitely will be back. They do next day reservations."

"This place had a great ambiance and a bright, clean feel to it. The server was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food was pretty good, and with great pricing for the amount of food you get! We were seated immediately, and despite seeming pretty busy, they had tables ready for anyone that walked in. Overall, great experience. We got the crunchy french toast, which was delicious and plated very nicely! We also had the "Kind Breakfast" (picture attached), which I liked, but I kind of wish I had ordered something a little more exciting. Still, it wasn't bad at all."

"I visited for the first time with friends. We had a reservation, but when we walked into the restaurant, there wasn't a line. We were greeted and shown to our seats immediately. The dining room was full and busy, but the waitress was efficient , and friendly. Our orders were taken and served promptly. One friend chose the crispy n moist fried chicken strips w/ french fries an a made from scratch biscuit. Her mother chose the dinner plate size pecan pancakes. I had the hash brown casserole. I think my dish would have been better if prepared with precooked hash browns, minus the sour cream. We drank a frappè, and hot tea. The food is reasonably priced with nice size portions. Everyone enjoyed their meal , especially the chicken tenders. On our way out, the lobby had a line, so you may want to take advantage of downloading the Magnolia app and setting a reservation prior to your visit."
