Chicken fried steak , hamburger steak and fried okra were the best .. it was so much food that dessert was not even an option .. we were so full. Shawna was our waitress.. she was attentive, friendly and made sure all our needs were met.. if your ever in Bastrop stop by and give them a chance.."

"Always a great place to visit. Good quality food despite two rude waitress. Two Hispanic girls both wearing black dark rim glasses. A heavy set one and a not as heavy set one. They look like twins. Exact same scowl on their faces, Just bad energy. Luckily, there was a groovy white waitress there who saved the day with her up beat attitude and positivity. There's seating indoors as well as outdoors which has a two covered areas out of the sun. A porch in front of the entrance and a dinning area by the stage. Their burgers are excellent! A nice and simple informal Texas place to recharge and socialize."
