"I am absolutely livid with my experience here, particularly with their abysmal returns policy. I attempted to return a dress and shoes that didn't fit, but was met with nothing but resistance and hostility from the staff. They made it clear that they didn't value my business and that they had no intention of making my experience a positive one. What's worse is that I had only worn the items once, and they were still in perfect condition. But despite this, the staff made me feel as if I had committed some sort of crime by trying to return them. It was a humiliating and frustrating experience that left me feeling angry and disappointed. I would not recommend J Crew to anyone, and I truly believe that the manager should be fired. The way that they treat their customers is completely unacceptable, and it's clear that they have no interest in making things right when their products don't meet expectations. In all honesty, I will never shop at J Crew again, and I would advise anyone else to do the same. There are plenty of other retailers out there that value their customers and provide a much better shopping experience."

"5 stars for very nice customer service from Pam. We had made a purchase of a Final Sale item but forgotten to use a gift card! Pam helped us return the item (bypassing the warnings because it was "Final Sale," which typically can't be returned) and re-buy it with a gift card. This is normally a slightly complex transaction because associates have trouble following, or don't know how to bypass a Final Sale return warning — but Pam knew EXACTLY what to do, and she did it so efficiently and effectively. Pam even gave me a new bag (and a Band-Aid!). Thank you Pam for making it so easy and painless!"
