"Black Gold is a great segway for young college aged Kids to first hand experience Odessa Night Club/Bar scene. But also has its regulars and small cliques will venture the venue some, if not all, weekends. Mix of Latino and Hip-Hop & Country music. No billiard tables, but decent sized dance floor for attendees. Security is tight but not UPtight. Good atmosphere from Waitresses and Bar staff; super fast, efficient, and consistent with customers and the late-night crowd."

"Great place, staff is awesome and the beer is always cold. If you don't like smoke don't go to a real bar because a lot of people don't smoke till the drink and if you think the parking is a little tight maybe you just need to learn how to drive. This is a GREAT place and I highly recommend it!!!"

"The atmosphere is fun, but our waitress was not very good. We had to constantly try to get her attention so we could make orders. She also said my card wasn't going through. Someone else paid, and once I checked my bank...the charges did go through. I have been trying to call the bar to get it taken care of...but have not been able to get someone to answer. There isn't even a voicemail system set up."
