"I had heard wonderful things about Beth Marie's from a few friends, and when my husband and I were in Denton recently - the delicious smells floating into the Square reminded me that I wanted to try this old-timey Soda Shoppe. It is absolutely adorable inside! The decor transports one back to a simpler time. And they have a wide variety of treats to choose from - including things like "egg creams" from the good old days. We opted to split a hot fudge sundae since we had just had dinner, and the hot fudge was AMAZING! The staff was attentive and patient with folks who could not decide, and you can tell that they take pride in their dessert masterpieces. The store was very clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend for a taste of nostalgia - you are sure to leave with a happy belly and a smile on your face."

"The girl helping us never stopped smiling, she was really sweet and attentive. She let me tried a few flavors and my fave was definitely the Beth's Raspberry Truffle! So yummy! My boyfriend had the pumpkin spice one and he really liked it too."

"This ice cream place has old fashioned setup, with some vintage pics and gadgets. Many flavors to choose from, ice cream tasted well, also depends on the flavors you choose as some of the flavors were not so great. It is kind of pricey for the quantity offered. Loses 1 star for the ice cream itself and the second one for the price-value quotient"
