"Bad business practices, bought a boat from them to have for Labor Day weekend, was told by Brett it would be ready to be picked up last weekend 8/28/21, then again told no won’t be ready until 9/3/21 seats are still being recovered, pretty sure if he had taken to the upholstery shop when he said he had they would be done by now. I’m pretty sure the boat is still sitting at P. K. With the seats in it. I just want my boat and the extra money we paid to have the seats done, Only gave one star cause I had to. after waiting almost a year we finally went and picked up our boat a 2008 Hurricane it was still sitting at P.K. it had only had the the seats pulled out to be recovered, they were at the upholstery shop in Lubbock, and to get them we had to pay for them as Brett Abernathy did not have the money to pay for the work, the shop was fixing to sale them as Brett would not tell them who they belonged to. So we are out the Money for the seats after already paying extra when purchasing the boat for this and having the boat buffed out and cleaned up which was not done. Brett did send us a check for the Money we paid for seats which was dated 3 months out and then bounced when put thru the bank. We will now be filing charges on him for this and the money we already paid for work not done which amounts to about $10,000.00 This man is a crook. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HIM"
