"Finally came to try out this place since per google, the only day during the week they are open at lunch is Friday. Food was fresh, innovative, and the price was comparable to the portion and quality. Service was good and the ambiance was bright and casual. Nice of the chef to give us a free 2 piece sushi when we sat down. I had the reg + premium combo and shared a sampler crudo with my friend. I rolled out of there stuffed."
"The food here is astounding, but what really made our visit special was Chef Yun! What an absolute treasure. He took the time to go above and beyond explaining things to us and was such a kindhearted soul. Everything we had was delicious, but The Blue Fish maki roll was our favorite. Can’t wait to go back!"
"Kudos to Chef Il-Sung and Chef Kevin! Came here a few times and they’ve been professional and friendly serving amazing food each visit! We came by today for my mom’s birthday and she loved it too. Also they have great price point for the quality and the variety of flavors you get to try. As a salmon lover, highly recommend the beet salmon. Their handroll combo is a great start to try a little bit of everything. Will be back again!"
"We love everything about The Blue Fish’s new concept restaurant Blue Maki. We were impressed by all the small details - from the plastic around the nori (seaweed) to keep its form to the decor. The restaurant is bright and welcoming. The food and portions are phenomenal! We would definitely come back especially for the portions! "Loved our dining experience here! I’ve been wanting some good sushi in dallas area and saw that this new temaki place opened and it did not disappoint! The handrolls were delicious with lot of flavor and they give a lot of fish on each temaki! Not only was the food delicious but the service was great as well! They were all so nice & friendly. I also loved the interior of the restaurant, it is a smaller place but there are a lot of seating around the sushi bar which is nice. I’ll definitely be going back! I highly recommend this spot if you want to try some good handrolls :)"
