"There is nothing wrong with this place, per se...it's just kinda, meh. It's your average bar with food, no more no less. If you ask for your wings crispy they do a good job of fulfilling that request but that's the only thing remotely "exceptional" about them (sad that that is exceptional nowadays, as a side note). Great place for people watching, though!"

"We were looking for a place to eat after a show at the Bastrop Opera House, this place was just a couple blocks away and open for dinner late. Food was good and service was great! Perfect choice after theater."

"I had the chicken fingers and gravy along with sweet potato fries. Chicken was tender and fries were good. The batter and the gravy were really bland though and the outside of the batter was burnt, so in addition to being bland, it had a burnt taste. First time I had been there. Will try something different next time I go. My friend had the chicken fried steak and she was not impressed either. We went for lunch and the prices are reasonable. Waitress was nice, but not real focused on service."

"We stopped here to eat lunch after visiting Ryan Holliday's bookstore down the street. The outside of the place gives the impression that it's an old home-style eatery, but inside it has a sports bar atmosphere. The food was good and the server was decent. It may be worth a visit for the food if you don't mind a sports bar vibe."

"Good place in town for good food. Comparable to Road House only bigger and more ac inside. No outside seating or parking lot. Hadn't been here since it was Cindy's - we'll be back..."
