The Home Depot

"No longer a HD customer. After spending tens of thousands at this store I can no longer support a business that forgets what country they operate in. Shopping in there the other day and there is Spanish music playing. You are not a Mexican restaurant where I would expect that. I realize you have a lot of foreign speaking contractors shopping there but they are working for Americans… Enough is enough…..Lowe’s is right across the street…."

"I was way too nice to give this HD 2 stars, after waiting for 10 mins for “curbside” to bring me my order, as I waited I called to check and no one EVER answered when I realized that no one was coming …I went inside just to NOT being greeted or acknowledged by the lady who handles online pick up after 3 mins she acknowledged me said she’ll be right with me , she never did she continued to have her nose on the computer chitchatting away with other employees! I then saw the lady who handled returns and asked her about my order , she found it and I took it to my car. Why offer curbside if you don’t offer it!?! Employee need a course on good customer service…such a frustrating experience, and right when I got off of work!! Never again!"

"Well, I just left the store 2-6-2024 4:30pm Out of all the stores that I go into in Houston. This is the first time ever. I get accused twice of stealing in a store. I've never even been accused like this, this sucks. This store is very on the edge. I'm not sure what else you could call it. But they're extremely scared, and this is ridiculous. I'm never coming back to this store again. Tool area and at the register"

"You need to look at who you contract with your delivery. Didn't deliver on original date. Driver did have pedestal for washer and dryer, but damaged, so now have to wait until 01/31. And driver decided my wife didn't understand the refrigerator would stick out. (Stick to driving not home decorating) plus driver said refrigerator would not fit through door. Not buying it, but buying this delivery driver didn't want to do job. Went from five stars to one, but would give zero if possible!"

"When I came into the store I returned a small item and got $4 and some change on a store credit. After shopping and going to check out I went to use the store credit cards that my husband had given me to buy the items that I was originally going to home Depot for. Home Depot would not let me use those store credits because they were not in my exact name. They said that no matter what the level of store credit, The person who returned the item had to be the person using the store credit. I tried to explain to them that this was extremely inconvenient as they did not tell me that when I just returned an item So therefore how would I ever know that I needed to be present to use $4 store credit. On the other hand they have no problem, when my husband uses my credit card. I won't return, as they were so ridiculous in their policy."
