"I absolutely love this place and I am so glad they opened so near my house! The food and drinks always incredible and the atmosphere is unmatched. My favorite things are the filet mignon, the lobster tail, the oysters, the seafood tower, and the Chocolate Marquis Cake. All of the cocktails have fun names and every one I have tried has been delicious!"

"My goodness they never disappoint!! I almost didn’t want to touch the ceviche! It was so beautiful and fragrant. The oysters are always amazing and the French 75 was the perfect complement to this meal. Highly recommend!!"

"What a great little restaurant. The offering has a nice sophistication to it. I started with a sampling of their French Onion Soup and they nailed it. Second was the shrimp and crab dip. In reality this was a spinach dip with a sampling of shrimp and crab. So I did like it, but the title was misleading. My entre was a 6oz lobster roll. Very tasty. It's definitely not the best I've ever have. I save that title for the RL in Chicago. But it was good and worth trying."

"Overall it was nice. I know they only been open for a little while but they still need to improve their over all menu and image they want to promote. For charging the price of their items the service needs to reflect this by dressing a little more like a high end restaurant. Time is needed with the staff for proper training in knowledge of beverage. Such as the difference between a bourbon and a single malt. My server didn't understand this so a quick education on my part ensued. The food was good but not great at the price. If having a main entree of Lobster Mac and Cheese identified having four ounces of lobster it should be more than four bites. The Ceviche had a bit of strong fish order, so gave the notion of not being fresh. The desert which a Creme burlee and the Chocolate Rum cake were excellent and worth the price! The service by the staff was excellent in regards to being attentive and taking care of our needs. The atmosphere of the establishment is excellent. Overall I will try them two more times to see how they improve."

"Taste on Main was awesome! We are Marylanders originally and did not realize this was a seafood restaurant as we typically won’t eat seafood in Texas (sorry if you’re offended). However, we went to Taste and got to try a bunch of food with friends and it was great. We did try bites of the tuna tostadas and the fish dinner dish - both were good! The best things for me were the drinks 100%. I had a similar to a cosmo martini, I actually had 2 and we tried the frozen coffee for dessert and wow- probably the best part of the meal! I tried the bolognese which was really good, flavorful. I had a bit of issue with the texture of the noodle shape (totally my fault and issue) but the dish was good! The seasonal side was this cauliflower with pomegranate seeds, which was fantastic. Another favorite of the evening. The fried steak was good but a bit overwhelming/ heavy. To be expected when you order the dish but I wouldn’t order it again. If you like Texas seafood and phenomenal cocktails, HIGHLY recommend Taste on Main. I would go back, just would order the chicken dish, an actual steak or the burger looked great! I honestly could go and just drink, all cocktails were that great!"
