Brooklyn's Down South

"I had never been here before and I was here for a birthday party with my buddies. Everyone was friendly and answered some questions I had and the service was good. I ordered the main Street Chicken club and that was pretty good I got it fried because My server did and she said it would be filling It was really good I enjoyed it and it looked really nice too. The restrooms were really clean as well. I will say though the prices I feel like we're a little bit higher than I wanted them to be I wish they were just a little bit lower but overall that's my biggest complaint."

"It’s a very nice place right on the main road. Parking is not great but it was worth it. We went on a Friday night, it was busy evening. Our waitress was very nice and chimed in with my friend and I conversation it was great. Everything we got was great, caesar salad, red beans and rice, veggie tacos, blackened catfish It was all great and was brought out in a decent time. The fruit tart was a nice dessert at the end, not too sweet just enough. Definitely recommend this place, it’s a nice atmosphere and great food. The drinks I saw looked great as well!"

"Went in with really high hopes the pictures online looked scrumptious. Getting inside there was a 15min wait not at all a problem. Once seated our waiter took a while to get us water and to take our order. It was busy but I watched him accommodate everyone else first then us. Ordered my burger medium and got it well well done. The burger had no flavor it tasted just like meat. I heavily relied on the toppings for Flavor with not so much luck. Same thing with the chicken fried steak. And the bisque soup was not good. Overall my family and I felt we were not taken care of because of the way we were dressed we went out for errands and decided to stop and eat. We asked for refills and the waiter would do everything else till we started asking others for water. I don't think we will be returning."

"I'm so full but thinking about this meal made my mouth water all over again. This place was superb. The food was piping hot, like, had to blow on it hot. Had the lobster bisque, meatloaf and ordered a cheesecake to go. All dishes were absolutely scrumptious. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes."

"Wife and I are traveling to Austin and stopped for the evening in Buda, TX. We decided to try Brooklyn’s out for dinner. This place has a very nice atmosphere and were consistently busy the entire time we were there..which was no wonder since the food and service were awesome. Wife ordered the shrimp and grits while I had the blackened catfish with a side of spicy Brussel sprouts and red beans/ rice. Everything was so good, but the sprouts were especially nice. They were spicy, but just enough to make them interesting. Our waitress was very attentive, but not obnoxiously so. This was win for us."
