About the Business
Tallers Tavern Bar and Grill is a locally owned restaurant and bar located in Richmond, Texas. We pride ourselves on serving quality, made from scratch food favorites in a welcoming atmosphere. Our menu offers a wide selection of draft beer, mixed drinks, foreign and domestic beers, and wines to complement your meal. Watch your favorite sports on multiple TVs placed throughout the venue, or join in on fun games like Goldentee, karaoke, and trivia contests.
Our steaks are cooked over a white oak wood burning grill and finished in a 1600° broiler, aged for 4 to 6 weeks with no antibiotics or hormones added. Seafood lovers can indulge in dishes like Maple Bacon Salmon, Seafood Paella, Pineapple Basil Grouper, and Pork Belly Shrimp & Grits. For pasta enthusiasts, try our Sea Scallop & Saffron Pappardelle with saffron cream sauce, fresh herbs, lemon, and Cortez bottarga.
We also offer creative and delicious vegetarian and vegan options, using organic and local ingredients whenever possible. Our hours of operation are Monday through Sunday, with extended hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for late-night dining and drinks. "I’ve been coming here occasionally since about a month after they opened last year… and I can honestly say that Taller’s has quickly become my favorite go-to bar. Great atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, and the food here is especially delicious (far more so than you would typically expect at a bar or pub-style spot. I highly recommend their fries here, and their Pork Belly Grilled Cheese is an absolutely mouthwatering and richly flavorful sandwich! Not to mention their steak night is very solid; I personally really enjoyed the ribeye done medium-rare. Pretty decent bourbon selection also… All in all, I’ve never had a bad experience here, and plan on continuing to go back here to Taller’s whenever possible!"
"Came for the Wednesday steak special. You get to choose your protein and it comes with 2 sides, green beans and a baked potato. I had the filet rare, and husband had the ribeye medium rare. Both steaks came out cooked as requested. Sides were great. We shared garlic parmesan fries which were very crispy and good"
"Edit (12/14/22) Came tonight for their steak specials and they were amazing!! 16 oz ribeye or 8 oz sirloin with a baked potato and greens beans for around $21! What a deal! Service was amazing and drinks never were empty. Love Taller's Tavern, the burger is amazing with parmesan fries! The service was great and didn't even have to ask for a refill on my drinks. The staff and management are very helpful and friendly! Definitely will be back!"
