"Some of the worst BBQ I’ve had in a very long time. Should have known when you can see the ovens behind the counter. This is NOT pit cooked bbq. It is more like Pot Roast with bbq seasoning sprinkled on the outside. Who wants to pay $25.00 lb. for pot roast????! Also the 1/2 chicken for $9.00??? It wasn’t even a complete half! It was baked with bbq seasoning. The place was empty on a Saturday evening. No wonder! We will never go back."
"The Marbled Brisket was full of flavor and delicious, the chicken was moist and falling off the bone. Amazing jambalaya, ranch beans and baked potato casserole. We will definitely be stopping in more often."
"Brookstreet makes good BBQ and the staff is friendly and helpful. This could easily be a 4 or 5 star rating but it is missing a few key things. For example you have fried okra but no ranch to dip it in, you have sandwiches but no mustard or mayo. Picked onions not fresh ones. All BBQ party fouls and the only reason they are not 4 to 5 stars."
"The chicken was moist and well seasoned. It fell right off the bone! The jalApeno sausage was also delicious. The potato casserole and green beans, jumbalaya rice were all great choices of sides. My family and I enjoyed the delicious food."
