"SMELLS GOOD..Food is GREAT here. BBQ taste same as other fancy restaurants but better value here. Restaurant looks small but is roomy indoors. The side portions are great also . Very fair deal for BBQ and sides. Not sure why it's called Tommy's when the indoors is decorated with John Wayne. The restaurant is not very noticable so it's easy miss or pass by as it's buried within the neighborhood and a double street passing."

"The brisket was flavorful. The ribs (hidden under the brisket), were very small and meager. The potato salad was ok, more like a combination of alot of mashed and some potato chunks. But enjoyed the meal."
"No offense meant, feel free to patronize a local business, but… I won’t be back. Dry. Everything. Ribs - not good at all. Sausage - powdery/grainy. Brisket - tough and dry. The fried okra was about the best thing. Sorry, like I said, I hate to kick a local business in the shins but this is not good food. Prices are okay. $18 for ribs, brisket and sausage with a drink and banana pudding. Hope they do better. I know it’s not easy."
