"I ordered delivery through the soul mans app. I ordered the bowl with a side of mac and cheese. On a I get my order I check and of course it’s not right I get sides of green beans and mashed potatoes. I call in and I of course get a young black girl to answer that gives me attitude. I ask to speak to a manager and this girl is so dumb she thinks I’m on hold but I hear what she tells the manager which is a huge lie so the manager gets on the phone (says he’s the owner and of course also black) and begins to blame me for the issue. How the hell do you blame the customer dude?!? I was told I would get a refund and of course like my order and the people I spoke to, I was lied to. I will never ever ever come here again. I still want my money back too and I may just stop in and ask the pos manager for it face to face since he copped such a cry baby hissy fit. F this place. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE."

"The food is very good and they give a reasonable amount of meat. The potato salad, slaw and pinto beans were very good. They have like 6-7 sides to choose from. Toast comes with the meal. The ribs were delicious. Meat falls off the bones. The brisket was excellent. The barbeque sauce was very good. I'm very picky with barbeque, but this place passed with 5 stars out of 5. The sweet tea however was VERY weak. We did not have a dessert. We will definitely be going back there again. Prices are $$ but comparable to other places. The food was the best we've eaten, out of three barbeque places we've been to. I definitely recommend Soulman's barbeque."

"This place should have a wait to get food. Everything about it is good as a former truck driver this a place I would go out of route to eat at any time I could. The atmosphere is southern and enjoyable (the music is live radio maybe a playlist would work better but perfect volume) like that dinner you went to a kid with that comfort food. Service is great the people working at the front talked to me and made me feel like a regular even mentioned how they ate the desserts and other neat ideas. Place is cleaned and maintained well. I take it the “old man” is the boss here or even owner but you can’t tell because he’s grinding away alongside everyone else. My respects for that because I don’t see that anymore and he seems more than happy to assist you and tell you about the meats and rest of the food. Then the food… it was great ! I can’t say more than that I wish I would have taken pictures before but once I got a taste I devoured it. The mac and cheese and ranch house beans is what I had and I will continue to have every time simply because they go perfect with bbq. I had a classic two meat plate ribs and sliced brisket and it was moist. I got back in line and got the double barrel potato with all the fixings for my wife and a chopped brisket and sausage sandwich for later. All I have images of is the results of what I had first."

"Easy to find establishment off the highway. I kinda wish the meat man would cut a smile at the customer's to say the least. 4 outta sight meals and half rack of ribs ordered from here folks. All I can say is that half rack of ribs were the best and not dry. When the meat dude pulled out the brisket, it looked like old zombie meat. The brisket meat was dry and the bbq sauce couldn't drown the meat enough to save it. I had Mac and cheese and boy was it stale. Got mash potatoes as a replacement side. My main complaint would be the sandwich itself, they downsized the hoagie to a hot dog bun size and I remember when they were not shy about the portions. Jerry Jones picture is on their wall and the meat was dry as he is. I know I'm being generous with the 3 stars."

"The specialty bowls looked great. But the special was a let down. Small bun small portion of pulled pork. If it's your special then make it special. The baked potato on another table made me wish I had ordered that. The fries were good, Mac n cheese were cheesy. Staff wasn't very friendly either very low energy."
