"I have lived in Austin and have driven by Texican Cafe so many time and I regret never visiting them sooner. My daughter was so impressed with the food and she is very big on good quality food. The food was so fresh and authentic and the alcoholic beverages were just as good. Our server was very nice and attentive. We will most definitely be returning. Shrimp tacos are a must and the kids meal chicken tenders with queso was what my daughter had."
"Typical TexMex restaurant, service and atmosphere was good and the food was good but nothing stood out as really great. I had the hard shell tacos with rice and beans, the tacos and beans were basic, the rice wasn’t warm but the tortilla chips were good as was the salsa (a little heat)."

"If you go here ask for Karla. She’s the best great recommendations and the food was delectable. Once it came to the table my mouth began to water, the smells made all my senses come to life. From the charred tomatoes to the blistered peppers and the chicken was well seasoned, the pork tamales were ok. The taco salad came with all the fixings & for a little extra you can get assorted flavors in your margarita… Raspberry, mango, and my fave cucumber. The menu selection is good for lunch dinner a special occasion or just a something good to eat."
"Their signature Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas were made with all white meat chicken breast meat, which is a personal preference. They were good sized and very tasty. The sour cream sauce was good, but a bit overpowering. The rice and refried beans were the perfect companions to the entree. The star of the show was actually the Margarita Azul that was offered on special. Very tasty!"
