"Second time dining in. This time I had lunch and was not disappointed. Staff is friendly, tables are clean and it's family friendly. I hope the limited hours (they close at 3) don't discourage people from coming in. Nice change from pizza, Mexican and repetitive fast food."

"Before you can even enter this place get ready to get a workout trying to open the door. I’ve never had to use this much strength opening a door……it definitely needs adjusting before someone dislocates a shoulder ☺️ The inside dining area has a cool vibe with the lime green accents and the coffee cups were also kind of neat. From there, I can say the service was good but I was not impressed with the food. The menu has a lot of great looking options but it was the breakfast I was after. I ordered the omelette (Western) which had ham and veggies and included hash brown casserole and a biscuit. I added an extra biscuit with a side of gravy. My impressions of the food was that there was no obvious “love” you could taste, it was just another meal. The biscuits were hard like they were just warmed, the little side of fruit was warm like it had been sitting out, the omelette was stiff and somewhat tasteless and the hash brown casserole was good but was pretty much like eating mashed potatoes with cheese. The portions of the hash browns and gravy were pretty small. The coffee was lukewarm which is a definite turn off for me. The prices here are definitely expensive for breakfast as well as the the other menu items. To say it was a value place would be far off. It cost $28 for my meal including tip which is very expensive considering the quality of the food. If I ever returned there it would not be for the breakfast!"

"We went here on a Saturday morning. Wait time for a table was about 25 minutes. It was busy. Chicken and waffles were a bit spicy. That would have been great to know before ordering it. We got to talk to one of the restaurant owners and she was very nice!"

"Our recent breakfast experience at The Toasted Yolk in Cedar Park left us with satisfied taste buds. Vegetable Scramble (4/5): The Vegetable Scramble was a delightful and healthy choice. Packed with a medley of fresh vegetables, eggs, and cheese, it provided a burst of flavors and textures. Southwest Breakfast Bowl (4/5): The Southwest Breakfast Bowl was a savory delight. The combination of ingredients, including eggs, black beans, avocado, and cheese, created a harmonious blend of flavors. Chicken Burger (4/5): Although The Toasted Yolk is primarily known for its breakfast offerings, we decided to try the chicken burger. To our surprise, it was well-prepared, with a juicy chicken patty and fresh toppings. Coffee (3/5): One aspect of our visit that left room for improvement was the temperature of the coffee. We found that our coffee was not served as hot as we would have preferred."

"Dined in early weekday morning. A lot of parking available and the restaurant has a lot of seating available. Interior design was modern and welcoming. I loved the big chandelier above the entrance. Huge menu which can be overwhelming at times. The southwest breakfast bowl was pretty good. The brown rice with black beans had no flavor but the rosemary chicken sausage was delicious. Customer service was friendly but we felt rushed from the time we sat down to when we left. If the place was fully packed with diners I would have understood but it was not."
