"This hidden gem in the heart of Amarillo! Daily lunch special $7.59!! We tried the chicken fried steak and I had grilled lemon pepper chicken. We got a side salad and tots. The daily pie in a jar was tropical or Reese’s peanut butter cup! This was excellent for two people under $25! We had already started eating when I remembered to take the photos"
"Everything we had was really good. The catfish, house made chips and those hushpuppies was awesome. The steakfingers were nice and tender. The hamburger steak was fantastic. The place is a true hidden gem."

"It's homey, friendly, reasonable. And above all else, the food is good all the time! Your friends are there all the time eating too. On Wednesdays get there by 11:15 if you want the homemade pies...and they even have a couple of kinds for those of us who are diabetic or are losing weight. You can know that you're loved here at the Grill, they remember your name....and it's just the Best chicken fried steak around, terrific salads, burgers like your grandma used to make (try the #1 on the $5 Special.. there's several great things on the $5 Special)."
