"Through the years this place has been good about their food and bad about their food (the usual for any food place). And I've heard about people being shorted on their salads or the quality. But, I've never really had that much of a problem like others have before... Until now. Almost $10 for what is about half of what they used to serve and the lettuce was edible, but old. I mean, it's one thing to pay the same price for what you usually get and get a smaller dish than what you've paid for. But to get old food on top of that is just too much for me. I don't think I'll be back, at least not for a long while."
"Support local when you can, and I highly recommend this place. Good value, nice people. Alway hot pizza and the best fresh chef salads. I literally crave their salad on a regular basis! I have tried just about everything on the menu over the years, and I have never been disappointed. The large chef salad is my favorite and the homemade ranch dressing I think seals the deal. I order for delivery and for pick up through the drive through about 50/50. They deliver further south than others will, so that is a nice perk! I don’t know if they deliver up to McCormick or if it’s up to Rockwell Road, so it’s convenient, too!"
"First time eating here will be my last. Ordered wings 18 for $30. Not a big deal IF they were good. These were the worst wings I've ever eaten. When we called to tell the manager he laughed and said "well, we really don't do wings" Not I'm sorry you didn't like them, laughed! Take them off your menu. They are horrible."
"Stopped at the one on Bell for lunch before heading back out of state; and not only was the salad fresh and tasty but the pizza was also hot, and I didn't have to fight my son to eat it! I appreciated the fun and very sweet guy (Allen I think his name was) that took our order as well as making sure we had everything we needed to comfortably take our leftovers on the road. I will be back every time I visit!"
"We visited Pizza Planet on a whim while visiting the Amarillo area. They have a large menu and a lot of variety from appetizers to pizza. The location we visited had a few tables for dine-in but it's set up for take-out and delivery. This location also has a drive through. We ordered the chicken barbeque pizza and it was excellent. The medium pizza was more than we could handle in one sitting (the left-overs where excellent, too). If you are in the area, you should give it a try."
