"Current owner of this place has been the best. She's professional, friendly, and makes an awesome Philly. She's always positive and loves the job, you can tell in the food. "Really, really good Philly cheesesteak! Fries were great too. Fun Philly atmosphere. Returned on January 11, 2024 at 11a and they were closed. Walked down to Dickies for lunch. After lunch, returning to my car at 12:20p, Fred's was still locked and dark. It doesn't look permanently closed (I hope not). No sign or note or anything. Very curious."

"We have gone to the one in Carrollton and it was much better. I wanted this place to be good. They help the local schools but they need a lot of help. One person was working at lunch time, they had to pack the to go orders, take walk in orders, cook and answer the phone. It took over 30 minutes to get our food and the first order was wrong. We asked for the Rocky Balboa and there was very little meat nothing like the picture for sure. We also asked for the cheese steak egg rolls and taste wise I wouldn't order again. As you can see in the picture they are small. The fries were no good. Very thin and over crispy. The diner inside is small nothing wrong."
