"I had been before for brunch and had a Michelada and brisket tacos and I was already sold with just the warm chips and Smokey salsa. Tacos and drinks were delish. Came back today and service is amazing, had the chimichanga and it is one of the best ones I’ve had by far. Also had the margarita and it’s delish. Highly recommend this place! ❤️"
"The stars for food and lower than I normally give for even a poor service effort is based on my experience Sunday night 7/9. I pulled in at 8:50pm and saw they open until 9pm. Lived in Keller 6 years and have enjoyed Baja since before it was in this end of the strip mall (it used to be the other end and I think they kinda joined up with the place at the other end) Anyway, as it was only ten minuets before close I thought I’ll just sit at the bar for a margarita or two and have something like a quick snack. Not possible apparently. I did get a margarita (which was good) but even queso is not available when they are “open” (salsa is the only alternative though it is good) The barman said the kitchen was closed and did get me some chips and salsa. The salsa is always good n spicy here. At 9:05pm the barman then refused to serve another margarita. 10 people still at two tables and 3 others at the bar. And he took away the last of my margarita before I’d completely finished it! My first visit here since April and unfortunately my last for sure. Also, the only time I left zero tip. The barman has worked here as far back as I can remember, but I haven’t done that since before I understood tipping culture 30 years ago in Florida. Tremendously disappointing. I bet I leave before the other customers too, and obviously before the 6 staff I saw front of house."
