Chicken Express

"Ordered 8 piece mixed chicken and received 4 wings, 3 breasts, and 1 leg... NOT COOL!!! Also ordered 2 piece fish fillet dinner... No complaints on it....not happy about 4 wings though... That's a rip-off!"

"Listen-I had a great review in the past about your chicken when we went in person, but now for the delivery service, it was great, but y'all keep overcooking the chicken, and I am very disappointed by that! If this doesn't change, I am going to stop ordering from here, because I paid too much money to be eating overcooked chicken!! I like it more fresh and, of course the fried okra was great. So do something with the fried chicken, and cook it better, or I will order somewhere else! I thought that I ordered an 8-piece chicken-how did I get breasts?? Come on now! How hard is it to meet my requests unless you ran out of certain pieces, and then I understand! I think I will order at a different establishment-not Hickory Creek--y'all are letting me down!! Also the chicken breast was too large and overcooked and dry! So disappointed! And oh, no--I found a strand of hair in my mouth!!--I can't do this anymore-I am ordering somewhere else-not here anymore!"

"After arriving home and seeing my order was incorrect, I went back up to get the missing items. One chicken tender and 2 mozzarella sticks. It ended up there was a series of misunderstandings and mistakes on both sides, which started with them entering my order wrong. I wasn't missing the sticks, they just weren't packaged where they would've been had my order been entered correctly, and I didn't search thru everything. Manager told me what I ordered (didn't ask me) and refused to make it whole. After a heated exchange, I left feeling cheated and crummy over a measley amount of product. I've worked food service for several years of my life and would have apologized for the misunderstanding and handed over the little bit that was being asked for. I wasn't asking for a meal replacement or refund, just those three items. Second star only because I've never had a problem with the kids/young adults, and they have the best sweet tea. Bummer for me."

"What's wrong with the way these cooks' poor chicken area?!! They never have enough of the requested chicken pieces needed and when they overcooked the fried chicken, it looked DRAWN UP AND DRIED AND WHEN WE WERE EATING IT, THERE WERE A MULTIPLE CHICKEN CRUMBS AND BITS SHEDDING ON MY PLATE! By failing to prepare, they were prepared to FAIL!! Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye......what a waste for Chicken Express at Hickory Creek! Take a 1 star rate for your service!"

"At noon on Thursday February 16th I was the first customer inside. Initial service was ok. Food was terrible. My chicken tenders came out cold. The okra was fried in obviously old grease and the catfish was unedible. The manager offered a substitute (chose fried chicken) and it wasn't much better. Definitely pass this place."
