Our newest location is dedicated to serving up freshly smoked barbecue made every morning, just like our homestyle set up. From traditional favorites to unique Soulman's creations, our menu is sure to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. "This place is close to home so gave it a try. It wasn't very busy as it was only 4 pm on a Thursday. The guy serving the meat wasn't too friendly but also not a complete tool. Placed order but then wanted to add a sausage and told the young girl that was ringing up the order. She told me I had to tell the meat guy to add the sausage. Ok, well you are standing right next to him, but whatever, I'll tell him so you don't have to. Asked the guy standing next to her for a sausage and then she didn't even add it to the order or put it in the bag so no sausage for me. They should probably rename this place to Soulless BBQ based on the customer service. The brisket was ok but nothing special."
"Great bbq, but not the best I’ve had. I was definitely happy with all of the sides and the service was amazing. The brisket was a bit dry and the sides were just okay. I would certainly love to give this place another chance and try some of their other dishes. Their desserts were great and I appreciated the fact the restaurant itself was kept very clean and tidy!"
"I live in Austin Tx where we breathe BBQ, I just wanted to say my experience with the brisket and ribs were not good on Sat Dec 30, and they both were burnt and overcooked. I called to speak to manager Allen and he made it right. I showed up on Sunday am right after the best night seeing the DC Win. Spoke to Larry and he prepared my pork ribs and brisket. It was delicious and even after I drove back home to Austin 3 hours later. The Ribs and Brisket was amazing. I called to tell Larry thank you for fixing the issue. Please tell Allen I really enjoyed the Brisket and Ribs. They were perfect. I didn’t want to try no sides just give me the meat. I love trying BBQ and when I am in the area I will come back to Mansfield or one of their surrounding areas."
"I got the 3 meat plate with fried okra, and their version of ranch style beans. Brisket - I've had much better all over town Sausage - very enjoyable Ribs - best of the three options Okra - fried way to long. Dark and hard Ranch style beans - awesome If I return, it's for the ribs and ranch style beans."
