"I got there at about 6am expecting fresh donuts they were cold and moldy. I’m not sure if they were from the day before or what but I ate 2 before I noticed they all had green spots under the bottom. I’m highly disappointed and disgusted."

"Stick to the classics, glazed. Delicious. As for the rest, I’m sure you’ve had better. Couldn’t help myself but to take a bite out of the glazed before photographing."

"How does one have the gall to serve a patron COLD half a dozen glazed donuts? I get it, I didn't come when they were freshly made, but they could've been at the VERY LEAST room temperature. I even left a 15% tip because I thought it would've been a nice gesture from my end. My tip should've been for me to tell her, "At least fake a smile, love." The act here from this establishment is unforgivable."

"Stop by this morning to grab a quick breakfast for my staff. I love their kolaches! Especially the jalapeño sausage ones! It’s so warm and tasty. It wasn’t really busy when I came in so I got to the counter and ordered right away. Very clean inside! Service was prompt and friendly. Very quick too! Half a dozen oof kolaches, a dozen of donuts and 2 donut holes later.. my staff was well fed and major food coma too! Best feeling :)"

"Shipley Do-Nuts is a Texas symbol. Go ahead and mention Krispy Kreme or Dunkin to Texans and they'll be quick to lay you know. . that's not a real donut lol. I love coming to Shipley when I come into town for two reasons: 1) their hot regular glazed donuts 2) THE KOLACHES What I love about their donuts is that they are yeast donuts. According to their website, "The donut that started it all was a glazed yeast donut. This donut has a light interior with a slightly crispy outside and smothered in the traditional glaze or a variety of other toppings including icing, sprinkles, nuts, coconut, and cinnamon-sugar. When eating one of our yeast donuts, you can imagine the sensation of biting into a cloud." The cloud aspect, is true. When biting into a Shipley donut, you question "what Krispy Kreme?". Now the kolaches. To be honest, I never had one until I came to Texas. I didn't even know what one was until my boyfriend introduced them to me a couple years ago. Everyone I go, I get the same one. The jalapeño and cheese one. Amazing every time. Our order when my boyfriend and I are together are the same. - 3 glazed - 3 kolaches - 2 bottles of water $12"
