Shipley Do-Nuts

"I have been to this Shipley’s a couple of times and there’s a short lady with glasses named Olivia in which I know she is fluent in Spanish. So I proceeded speaking Spanish to her and to my surprise she doesn’t speak a lick of it? OMG hilarious!! However, she has attended me and at the same time she has a terrible demeanor towards me as a customer. I thought maybe she was in a bad mood that day? Nope, she must wake up like that every day. Of course, I had complained to corporate and they gave me 6 free donuts as an apology. Went back and another lady was helping me in the which she butted in the conversation saying it has to be “glazed”. Nahh lady card says “mind your own business!!” I got my sprinkled donuts. By reading the reviews of the bad service it definitely had to be her."

"I walked in with my family and we had three Shipley apps, each had an offer for two free glazed donuts. The woman working there said that we had to buy $10 worth of stuff to redeem one of those offers. Even though the offer never mentioned having to buy anything. The lady insisted and we bought three donuts and left. This was honestly very disappointing because you get this offer because you downloaded the app. I will never come back again"

"Came to visit my family today from Virginia and took my grandkids to swim class next-door to this location. I was greeted by an amazing woman by the name of Ms. Elizabeth. She was very patient and nice and the donuts that we had were really delicious. Brought more to take home to family members."

"This has to be the worst Shipley location in Houston. Native Houstonian here, I’ve been eating here for 35 years. This one is not using the right recipes or something. On top of the poor taste of every item we bought, the service was terrible. The woman working the counter/window around 6AM was so rude. Lastly, NOTHING was ready. They opened at 5, I got there around 6 and all they had ready was glazed donuts and a few dipped. The rude woman substituted ham kolache order for sausage without asking, and was overall just a terrible impression for Monday morning. Your franchise manager needs to come visit this location. They need some TLC."
