"I showed up with an appetite and excited to dive in to some local barbecue. I struggled to find flavor in my half chicken plate. The rice was bland and the beans tasted like lentils. The chicken was dry and the barbecue sauce was way to sweet. If what I described sounds like something you want to dive into don’t let me stop you. I try to provide an accurate description of my experience and the above is what I experienced. I was so looking forward to an alternative bbq place and this place fell way short of my expectations."

"A welcomed surprise... I drove past this restaurant last week thinking they were a catering office, BUT I was wrong - THEY HAVE DINE-IN & TAKEOUT! Tried their brisket, chicken & sausage plate with potato salad & barbecue beans. Everything was delicious & the prices were ridiculously low for the amount of food. Skip the overrated Longhorn Restaurant along the expressway & instead, venture 1 mile into the heart of San Benito to visit this gem."
