Circle K

"DON'T EAT HOT DOGS HERE!! Story time!! We are locals and visit this location frequently. This time around we were getting snacks when I saw a deal for 3$ for a hot dog and drink. When we went to pay, it rang up for more. I could see both items where rang up separately and no discount was given. When I brought this up to the cashier with short blonde hair, she tried to say that it was just the tax. Then she said it was only on the weekends. I explained it was on the sign and she got annoyed. So the cashier Cynthia had to take over the transaction and asked me to show her where it said 3$, I did. She then asked another young lady behind the kitchen if she should override the price. When we got to the counter again, she rang it up the same and tried to say it was the taxes again. I began to argue, but was tired of the pointless arguing. I went to get the hotdog and there were no more so I asked for the transaction to be cancelled. My daughter 11 year old stated "mom you really wanted a hotdog" I responded to my daughter, "no I don't need the hotdog." And Cynthia the cashier responded to me with "we can microwave one for you?" I told her "no, nobody wants a microwaved hot dog." Cynthia the cashier then replied "They are all microwaved hotdogs, that's how we do it." Both cashier's were obviously annoyed. I asked to speak to the manager and was told nobody would be in till the morning. All I wanted was a hotdog and drink, not the attitude from people who obviously don't like their jobs. If Circle K can't honor their specials, then why stop there. If this is acceptable behavior from employees then they are not a stand up convenience store, as I once thought. It's draining and embarrassing to have to argue why you deserve the deal Circle K is offering."

"I had previously given them a bad rating due to their gas price different on sign and pump. They changed their sign. It now flashes two prices. One for regular cards, cheaper if you use their card. Perfectly acceptable. They have lots of stuff in the store and restroom was clean."

"I fully appreciate circle k and their discount on gas but the pumps at this location are horrible. The buttons on the pump to say “no” to a car wash and “no” to a receipt never work. I’m so tired of standing there and having to use my knuckle repeatedly to get my choice to register. This is a 4-5 star location in every other aspect."

"I wanted to purchase a bottle of water so I picked the one that said $1.79. When I got to the register she charged me $1.89. I told her the price tag read $1.79. She went over to the price tag and turned it over so that it read $1.89. She then told me I would have to pay that price. Circle K should honor the price that is posted when the customer picks up the item. They should not change the price while you are at the register to pay for your item. I will not return to this store. Update: went across the street to H‑E‑B-much nicer staff and they don’t change the price when you’re standing at the register."
