"Wow!!! We saw this restaurant on TikTok a while back so I decided to take my hubby for his birthday for the big country fried steak. They were pretty busy for a weekday when we got there but we were immediately seated. EVERYTHING we ordered was good! The fried mushrooms were great and there were so many! The pics are AFTER all 5 of us had some!! The maverick meltdown burger was on point with the grilled jalapeño’s and THICK cut bacon. Service was outstanding! When they found it was my husbands birthday, they even brought him a hat! Which for the man that has everything lol that really made his day! We will definitely be back! 30 min drive is definitely worth it! Great food and great pricing!"

"Had high hopes as the advertising looked different than what expected. Food was okay. Chicken fried steak was huge If you're looking for a large portion. Grilled chicken was decent. Everything seemed over fried though. All in all it was okay. Nothing memorable although I wish it was. Not my cup of tea, but maybe it's yours."

"We saw this place on TikTok and we had to visit the food was tasty and the staff was friendly.. We order some of the Maverick favorites and we were not disappointed. The chicken fried steak is enough for 2 meals and the pork chops had a great flavor. Our waitress was nice and made the dinning experience even better. We drove an hour and thirty minutes for this restaurant on a Sunday it was well worth the drive."

"It's my 1st time here, but I have mixed feelings about my experience. To begin with, the food is a bit overpriced. Some items were warm, not hot. The food tasted semi-homemade, not fresh from scratch. The food didn't have soul and was under seasoned. The service was mediocre. The atmosphere was quaint and cozy. The place "appeared" clean, though. I doubt I'll be coming back. Come check them out for yourself!"
