"I've been frequenting Anchor Bar for a while now, just tried them out at the new location. Love the spot and the staff is awesome, Kristy and Rosie are always super friendly and our whole family loves the food. Anchor Bar is the spot to go for wings, pizza and lots more"

"Sports bar using the name of the original Buffalo, N.Y. place where real wings started. The food was pretty good and we ordered two big plates of boneless wings. Waitress either was new or didn't have any skills as all she wanted to do was get us to leave as soon as possible. Only a few tables were filled so we ignored her but she was annoying. Atmosphere was typical bar with sticky bathroom floors. Oh yeah, there was a TV over the sink in the men's room. Eat here for decent wings in San Antonio."

"I’m so sad to write this review and I hate to be this person but…. We used to LOVE coming here, their wings are great and it’s a nice atmosphere. But the past few times we’ve had terrible experiences with service and with a slow kitchen. Today we went and it took an hour for food to hit the table. People who’d been sat after us received their food before us or in much less time. We had rewards for 10 dollars off that our waitress wasn’t going to honor until we asked for a manager (we hate to be that person who asks for a manager). The two times prior we waited just as long for our food and it wasn’t hot when it came out. We have loved anchor bar and frequented it for years but the past few visits have been so frustrating and unfortunately now we don’t plan to return which sucks because we love their wings :("

"The mac and cheese balls and mac and cheese burger were good. I had to send wings back because they had plastic in them. I just asked them to remake the wings. They compensated me with free mac and cheese balls, both of which I had to eat at home because it took so long for them to remake them. And they had some pretty intrusive flies in their. The gentleman that served us was nice. The wait time and the reminders about ordering food and getting drinks were subpar. Wasn't terrible, but the constant "issues" left a bad taste, literally, in my mouth."
