"Before my food got here, I walked around the pond and found a cool Turtle and a few Geese. Also took a cool pic of the building. Coffee cup had very encouraging message on it. Highly recommend the Texas Pecan Coffee flavor. The Texas Breakfast was great, the seasoning in the potatoes hits different. The bacon was nice and greasy, and the eggs were wonderful. Overall I had a great experience."

"I ordered the big breakfast plate, which came with three fluffy, golden brown pancakes with a side of melting butter and maple syrup. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy, and the sausage patties were juicy and packed with seasoning. The pancakes were the highlight of the meal, although I would say the same for sausage. Pancake were perfectly cooked with a wonderful fluffy interior and slightly crisp exterior. Each bite delivered a sweet maple flavor that paired nicely with the salty, savory sausage. The potatoes provided a good balance to the sweetness of the pancakes. They were well-seasoned and had an excellent crispy texture on the outside while remaining pillowy and absorbent on the inside to soak up any extra syrup or butter. The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. Our server came by several times to check on us. The manager even stopped by our table to ensure we were enjoying everything. The restaurant has a charming, cozy atmosphere with natural lighting, and plants. The seating is comfortable and there is enough space between tables for a quiet, intimate dining experience. With free wifi and outlets near most table, it's also an ideal spot to get some work done over breakfast. In addition to the stellar breakfast offerings, Black Walnut Cafe also serves up delicious coffee, decadent cakes, and refreshing gelato - it's an all-day cafe with treats to satisfy any craving. "Well I am not sure how to describe the place. It’s partial self serve and partial served restaurant maybe!? would rate food 3.5/5. Coming to customer service, the lady who was taking the order laughed when asked about a food I did not have a knowledge on. RUDE!! It would have been nicer if she explained politely. The interiors seemed nice to me. However, we decided to be seated outside. The table was full of dust. Other than that, I had a good experience with my friends. I liked Mediterranean chicken the most. I would rate it 3.75/5."
