Cotton Patch Cafe

"I haven't been to a Cotton Patch in years and I'm glad our family couldn't agree on any of the usual suspects so we tried something new. The only downside was the chicken fried steak batter didn't stick to the steak, but everything else was fantastic. Dr. Pepper burger was sweet and savory and an absolute mess, in all the good ways. Broccoli cheese rice casserole was better than any homemade I've ever had. Chicken strips were massive and juicy. Jalapeño gravy was a nice departure from the norm, but I'd recommend half and half as the traditional gravy was also solid. And the rolls... My gosh, man, THE ROLLS. Our waitress (sincerely apologize but I can't recall her name; Kiara or Kinsey maybe?) had a slow day due to the crazy cold front we had, but she was all smiles and a pleasure. We'll definitely be back."

"Pretty good chicken fried chicken at Cotton patch. Juicy and plenty of portion size. Came with 2 sides, the salad was pretty large for the side salad. Friend got chicken fried steak and liked it. The fried pickles were pretty good also. Good experience, I would go back."

"Best of luck. Ordered 80$ worth of food and only part of it is edible. Forgotten sauce, overcooked meat, fish, hush puppies, rotten veggies in a plastic bag, and unseasoned rice. Someone might be having a bad day but why did no other team member catch this? Not expecting 5 star meals but at least ALL of it edible."

"I ordered delivery so I can't rate the atmosphere. I ordered the chicken fried steak, sides of garlic mashed potatoes and southern green beans. The steak breading was crisp if a bit dry and thick. The mashed potatoes were also dry and dense. The green beans had a nice kick to them. Separating the gravy was much appreciated. Overall portions were a good meal. There could have been more gravy to offset the dryness but it sufficed."

"Cotton Patch Cafe is always a great place to go and eat, today I brought my sister who has never been here before. Alex was the young man that greeted us and led us to our table. He was very polite and stayed busy doing different things when there weren't any people waiting to be seated. Our server's name was Anthony he was very polite and knowledgeable, he told us that he had only worked there for three weeks. He was very attentive to all of his tables, my sister had him running back and forth but it didn't seem to bother him. If you go to the Cotton Patch Cafe in Denton be sure and ask for Anthony, you won't be disappointed. The food is always great also."
