"We were recommended to check this place out while we are visiting Texas. I’m glad we went! R&K brings that rustic, classic country eating that I miss! The interior is old town style and has that Texas charm. Our server was friendly, quick and easy going. Our group of three all had their coffee, which was excellent, and the country fried steak combo. You get PLENTY of food for $12! In the photo was my platter PLUS a side of biscuits and gravy. Now that’s the kind of breakfast you can’t get just anywhere. Their country fried steak was delicious and breaded perfectly. I got hash browns with my steak and they were seasoned to perfection. Try the gravy! And get extra because it’s delicious! As we left, we also bought a slice of pecan pie and that was the perfect touch to our breakfast. Will be back."
