"Went through Alpine on our way back from Big Bend. And it was absolutely the best bakery I’ve ever been to. Breakfast sandwiches were phenomenal. So were the lunch sandwiches. The cinnamon roll was wonderful. But the sourdough bread…is the best bread ever. We brought a loaf home and eat it with everything. I hope she builds a website so I can order bread from her on the weekly. She was very friendly and a HARD worker. She should be proud. Dropping by and filling up with food made our 10 hour drive back home so much easier."
"Friends in Alpine referred us to the Garden Bakery for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. We chose the chicken with rice out of the refrigerator, and heated it in the microwave at the bakery. YUM!!! We also bought 2 containers of the organic oatmeal with nuts, raisins and seeds, for breakfast the next day. OH MY! This food is incredible! We will go back for more on our next trip!!"

"Found this gem and went twice in one day! Their bread is freshly made and the owner is very hands-on in everything she does. Coffee is amazing too! Get a breakfast sandwich and a slice of zucchini bread. It will make your day so much better! They also make keto bread!"
