"Great little spot off the I-10 and worth a detour. Mushroom Burger is very delicious and so is the Chicken burger. Fries came out nice as well. If they are busy, I can see how the food can take a while to prepare, but I would certainly recommend. If I am doing another cross country trip on the I-10 again, I would revisit."

"This place came highly recommend so all 6 of us were exited to check it out. We loved the location and the small quaint feel of it. However the food was less than average and the prices didn't represent the quality of the food. We had to ask them to wipe down the dirty table. They were closed for a break (which they're 100% entitled to) however they should have taken the time to clean the tables before or after they closed. I watched as our table was cleaned and they pushed the dirt off the tables and onto the laps of my friends, it wasn't a lot but it should have been collected. The onion rings were dry and tasteless and so we're our burgers. We all finished everything because we were hungry from swimming at the near by Balmorhea pool. If not, I would have sent me food back. And I'm so tired of being asked to leave a tip for just taking my order. It's not as if they bring your food out to you. You order, you sit down, they call out your number, and you get it. I'm glad other people had better experiences. If the food quality, prices, cleanliness, and expected tip stay the same then I don't recommend this place."

"Quaint off-highway stop near the local Post Office. I was looking for a quick, local bite when driving between El Paso and San Antonio. The burger was a bit too well done for my tastes, but it was seasoned well. The bun was delicious and the jalapenos were great. The highlight was the tots. Perfectly crispy and they automatically gave me salt and pepper even though I forgot to explicitly ask. It took about 20 minutes in total to get off the highway, find the place, park, order, get the food, and be back on the highway. Overall would definitely try again. I'm interested in their chili dog. $13 for burger and tots, no drink."

"Excellent! People looking for a great meal en route between San Antonio and El Paso... or on your way to/from Big Bend National Park... this place is a must stop! Great place for a good, hot meal and cold drinks! Burger joint-style crunchy fries, juicy burger. Outdoor sitting area. Gas station / convenience store across the road. Located at the foothills of the west Texas mountains, not far from Interstate 10. (The mountains are not high in elevation like other places, but hey!, they still count.) Enjoy at the lake nearby! (Should've filmed spaghetti westerns here, ya know.)"
