"Liked the food and service. They were very nice to me. But when I got there it was 10:55am and said there was no more breakfast. So yeah, I think it was too early to remove breakfast that early from the day."

"Update: I’ve had a chance to eat at this restaurant a few times now. So I can say it’s delicious and the lady that works the front is very friendly. I love the vibe in this place. Very warm and inviting. —————————————————————————- Response to owners comment - your website says you are open on Saturdays but you’re not. It wastes people’s time. Not sure how many stars you think that deserves. I simply suggested you update your hours of operation. A better response may have been, we will update our website. Thank you for bringing it to our attention —————————————————————————— Please update your hours of operation. I showed up on Saturday only to find it’s closed and the hours on the window are different than online. I waited all week to come eat at this place on Saturday."

"Sharing my experience from yesterday lunch. We told the lady upfront what happened, but her response wasn't what I wanted to hear. My mom and I had been at the hospital all night and all morning with my grandma. I wanted a break away to have lunch. Casa Ortiz does have good food. I've ordered breakfast burritos many times. Yesterday, we didn't even have a waitress. I felt so so unwelcome. She took our drink orders, we waited a long time to order. I know my mom took a few minutes to get there but we still waited a long time after she got there to order. When we ordered, she never came to check on us, didn't ask if we needed refills. Nothing. It really left a terrible impression. I know this review doesn't mean much to that waitress or even the owner, however it does to me because i was already not in the best mood due to my grandma's condition, and then we were given, not bad service, but no service basically. It's as if we were just filling up a couple of chairs and the waitress couldn't be bothered because she obviously had regular customers she was super attentive to. Thank you Casa Ortiz."

"Went here while on business trip to Odessa & stopped here because of the 4.5 star rating on Google. Anyway, surprised to hear they didn’t have Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, any of the typical soda type drinks. So I ordered lemonade. I asked for beef fajitas and they don’t have that either. That was a first. I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant that didn’t serve fajitas. I ended up getting I believe the Asado Plate lunch meal. The food was very flavorful and hot (not temperature hot) so I loved it. The salsa is also hot, but has flavor to it. It’s not hot where nothing else can be tasted. My coworker ordered the tacos & destroyed them. Atmosphere is nice as well."

"Visiting from out of town and came upon this gem. After forgetting to enter my order, they really made up for it. A free breakfast always tastes better!! Everything was good but the extra crispy bacon pieces are amazing! Thank you for taking care of me!!"
