"We started at the Green River Canoe Launch, and kayaked downstream to Heidelbach. This launch area is clean and easy to access. Highly recommend taking your kayaks down Pigeon Creek on a sunny day! I love this hidden gem of Evansville!"

"The park is great, lots of big beautiful trees, wildlife, flowers, people enjoying fishing, walking or bicycling around the park or greenway. I would not canoe in the creek, to much debris, and polluted water. I just wouldn't take a chance of eating any fish, walking in the water, or having any cut and having the creek water on them, With the possibility of becoming sick. I would just stick to the park, it like having the country in the city."
