"I enjoy living at JB Residence, however the security is not up to par. I left my bike locked up downstairs and someone managed to have time to break the lock and take my bike apart. I have had several packages stolen and the Rex Properties Managers have not been of any help. I now have packages delivered to my boyfriends house or I have to pick them up from the Shipping Carrier(what an inconvenience). The building gives you a false sense of security with camera signs and cameras that do not work. The door the goes upstairs to the living quarters should be locked and the only entry should be with your key card, but that is broke and anyone can come upstairs or walk right into the mail room."

"Another beautifully restored building in downtown Augusta. It hosts a lovely coffee shop, a quaint, thorough, and reasonably priced book store, some very nice apartments, and a church. (Attendance not required) I was on my was to the church and went in the wrong door and ending up near the apartment end. A woman approached asking me my business snd hastily leading me out of that end of the building to the end. They, understandably, like the tenants to be left alone. As a side effect, I found the church immediately. It’s fairly low key and unobtrusive to the community, except in ministry. They very much care, but they won’t drub you with it."
