"This museum is an amazing and fun interactive experience for all ages. They have a new interactive education center for all ages that was absolutely epic. Try your hand as an engineer and build a bridge or diagnose medical conditions in their interactive video games or head over and do a craft of the day to learn more about the military. The exhibits are also interactive with puzzles and movies throughout the building. Finally, head up stairs for their medal of honor wall and learn about what sacrifices were made by the brave men and women on that wall. We will definitely be back."

"This museum is a tribute to the history of a nation's Army. The experience starts outside with beautifully maintained grounds and outdoor displays telling the history of Army units. On entering the museum the open space is bright and welcoming with the ribbons of past campaign medals lining the ceiling in a beautiful display. To reach the exhibits one must walk through a series of pillars which testify to the valor and honor Soldiers who served and sacrificed to maintain the glory of America's Army. From there visitors can literally walk through the history and ideas which make the US Army both essential and inspiring. The location may seem out of the way, but a brief trip out of town to learn about the history of an Army which has defended freedom around the world is worth the trip."

"We had a wonderful experience. We live in Northern VA so have been to many of the museums in DC. This was the best museum i have been to. Not too busy, lots of space and great use of audio visual and a fantastic theatre. There is also a large area outside which the kids loved running around. I would do this museum and then the Marine Corps museum down the road for a day out. The building architecturally is also amazing."

"An immersive experience. The exhibits are well-organized and accompanied by captivating, detailed information. There’s plenty of friendly staff around with a wealth of historical and technical information pertinent to the exhibits. There are several exhibits accompanied by videos playing through projectors which really bring the scenes to life. The mannequins are very lifelike; a lot of attention to detail went into making them. They keep everything clean and tidy. The restroom smelled divine."

"First time my boyfriend and I came to visit which was a great experience. The museum layout is beautiful and well done. I love the timeline of the Army’s history. The technology that gets you involved and hands on is very cool. The videos they show of the wars is very interesting & fascinating. Couldn’t stop watching"
