"I had Jacob come to my church to get pricing on a new projector and labor. I called him after 5 days of waiting, and he said to give them a couple more days and they should have a quote. No quote. So tried calling him again and left a message. No return calls. It has now been 3 weeks, I guess they don't want our business."

"What a joke the "geek" squad is. I took the drive out of my spare computer so I couldn't make a bootable drive. The OS on my main PC needed an os, they wanted $200 to put one on the drive. I was not informed beforehand that this kind of service wasn't covered. I am now having a friend make a bootable instead"

"When I turned my iPhone in to have the battery replaced, I was told it would take 1-2 days. When it was having the battery replaced, it was broken and it had to be sent for a new one. It ended up taking 5 weeks for me to receive a phone after the date I turned it in, and I did not recieve a refund. Staff, including managers, were not helpful and I was only updated once during the entire process via email, I had to go in on my own time to the store multiple times for updates because the phone number always took me to a third party and I was never able to contact the store. I would not recommend Geek Squad and will in fact be referring others to seek help elsewhere."

Mark is the owner and he’s a very honest man and won’t charge you unnecessary fees like geek squad does. He will even save you the time and money if it’s something you can fix on your own."

"The Geek Squad was supposed to deliver my refrigerator to the second floor and install it. However, when they came over for delivery, they simply said they won't do it because it is not "safe" for them to carry it up. The delivery person called his manager. The manager gave me two "Options": 1. They unload the fridge at the parking lot and leave. 2. They take the fridge back to the store, and I reschedule the delivery when I figure out how to move the fridge up by myself! They did not have any equipment to carry the fridge, and I had to pay a significant amount out of pocket to have two men help me carry the fridge up to my apartment. The Geek Squad did not even bother wrapping a blanket around the fridge, and my arm got injured while I was trying to avoid the fridge getting scratched. When we managed to get the fridge to my kitchen, I showed them that the fridge is not leveled; they ignored it and said they can't do anything about it! All in all, a combination of poor quality and unprofessional manner. Maybe it is time for Best Buy to reconsider working with Geek Squad."
