"This company threatens their patients to try and get more money out of insurance companies, even when Apollo signed a contract with the surgical center they work with stating that patients are only responsible for the charges that their insurances approves/deems as reasonable. The letter they send patients states that the patient will be responsible for the balance that insurance will not pay, even though the patient signed an agreement with the surgical center stating that Apollo cannot bill the patient for any uncovered balance/charges. I’m so sick of companies trying to scam patients. Such price gouging. My insurance company explanation of benefits states that Apollo only billed them for $660, and the insurance company approved and covered the $660 for anesthesia services, yet Apollo wants to charge me (or my insurance company, whoever they can scan money out of) almost NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS. AMERICA the beautiful."

"My anesthesiologist on the day of surgery was good! He had good interpersonal skills and was kind! Everyone else not so good! I kept getting bills from Apollo politely "threatening" me to basically "badger" my insurance to pay them more money. If I did not do this plus provide Apollo proof I took action, they would "come back on me" to pay more out of my pocket than they would if I provided Apollo proof I tried to get my insurance to pay more. Apollo said this in their letter even though they signed an agreement with my insurance to accept as payment the negotiated reimbursement from my insurance."
