"If I could rate them a zero I would. They do not listen to their customers and are trying to tell me that a deposit is non refundable even though they didn’t move us. The mover they provided wanted to move us in a uhaul because their truck was 90% full when they arrived 6 hours. This company is an absolute scam."

"If you don’t read this review all the way through. Just know Kyla is the worst. Absolutely worst decision to hire this company for my move. Wish I read the reviews before hiring. They were extremely on top of everything up until the days leading up to my pick up date. After the movers came they expressed payment policies that were not in explained prior. They then explained the delivery process to me and told me dates they suggest I put for the delivery dates. I spoke to multiple people at nation wide to get updates on our delivery dates, and I would get the run around every phone call. I finally spoke to someone without was helpful and gave us an update in a timely manner. However the contracted movers haven’t been communicating well. I called back and spoke to Klya. Whatever you do DO NOT work with Kyla. She was extremely unprofessional, she spread misinformation, was argumentative, and honestly was the worst person I’ve had to interact with in this whole company. Nationwide has a FEW good employees but from my experience, they are not worth the headache they serve. Hiring movers should make the moving process easier but renting a crusty dusty uhaul to drive cross country would have been better than this nightmare."

"Terrible experience. Customer service is great until you get close to your move, after which it is extremely difficult to get a hold of anyone. Worse is that they contract with brokers who vary in quality, are even worse at communicating and will likely damage or loose your belongings. Absolutely avoid this company at all costs."

"The person I booked with seemed very helpful and gave me pickup and delivery dates that worked well for my schedule. We were very clear about this date, as I'm on a tight schedule. Clearly, this employee either didn't understand how their business works or he just flat out lied to get me to commit to them. When the contractors arrived, however, they were working with a delivery schedule that was SIX days later than the original one, which blew apart my schedule. When I called Nationwide to work through this discrepancy, the person I spoke to was a disinterested shoulder shrug in human form. I would not recommend them-- these folks are so absurd that they defy description. Instead, hire someone who will be upfront with you. Or just hire literally anyone else-- you can't do much worse-- and save yourself the stress and headaches."

"Do not use! They are a BROKER! Even If you give them every single item in your home, their quote and estimate WILL NOT be accurate. The moving company that they select for you will charge you more. They under estimated our move by HALF! They ask you when you want to move, but do not verbally tell you that it is highly advised to select a moving date TWO WEEKS before you actually move : "Note, that re-dispatching takes several days; this is why we strongly urge you to select a pick-up date which leaves you at least a two week cushion before you must vacate your home. This way if you need to have an alternate carrier dispatched you will have several weeks to reschedule a new pick-up date with an alternate carrier. ​ Last minute pick-up dates are highly discouraged for this reason; please plan for all scheduling contingencies and do not schedule your pick-up date on a date right before you need to vacate your home." So this company that wants to be a convenience to their customers #1. NEVER discloses the name of the local long distance motor carrier that they choose for your move to YOU! #2. Makes you "interview" the carrier by selecting a date two weeks ahead of time in case (obviously in ALL cases) the carrier bills you for more! We blindly trusted. And got screwed to tune of $12,000 over the estimated quote. We provided a VERY detailed list. When the moving company showed up on the day prior to us having to vacate and refusing to load a thing until we signed an updated contract with them, that's when we knew we were screwed! We found the fine print on Nationwide's contract the next day. The above quoted disclosure fell conveniently in the middle of their contract. We didn't know that they were Brokers and washed their hands of our move the moment the actual movers showed up. Please tell me who would plan to move two weeks in advance so that a refusal can be made?"
