Reviews
"I haven't been here in probably 10 years. The trails are very well established, but I was under the assumption that it went in a loop, but we must have missed the turn for that because we got to the top and just walked through the neighborhood to get back to our car. It is super steep, so just be prepared for that! Great birding along the water. Dog friendly as well!"
"This is a great hiking trail for beginners! It stretches for about 2.7 miles, and there are about 3 shortcuts to make it off the mountain easily."
"The hike originally seemed perfect! But pay clear attention to when it’s going to be dark. One minute it’s bright and clear the next you’re speed walking through the woods with just your phones “flashlight”. Sounds seem very different when it’s just you hoping you didn’t just see a the sign that still said 1/2 mile. Again, originally the hike was perfect! Would go again but earlier in the day."
"This is a great place for a quiet hike with your Fuzz Kids and there's plenty of hills and adventurous hiking. I cross paths with three families and they all had leashes on their kids. Will be back for another adventure ❤️"
"Nice trails but there wasn’t a map so I wouldn’t go alone if you aren’t familiar with the routes. Every once and while there was an arrow (presumably to direct away from private property) but after ~40 minutes I opted to turn around and exit the same way I had entered so I didn’t get lost. The snow from last night was melting so it’s possible some of the trails were flooded and normally it’d be easier to make a loop (btw- there’s no gravel/ pavement so unless you have waterproof shoes, I’d wait a few days after a rain for it dry out). The entrance sign didn’t specify if dogs are allowed or not, but other reviews mentioned bringing their pup so I let mine come along and he certainly enjoyed the new smells!"
