About the Business
Fur Baby University is a luxury dog resort located at 202 Old Montgomery Highway in Wetumpka, Alabama. Our custom-built campus features four outdoor play areas, two indoor play areas, a splash pad, and live webcams for you to check in on your furry family member. We offer services such as doggy daycare, enrichment courses, boarding, and grooming, serving Wetumpka, Prattville, Millbrook, Montgomery, and the greater River Region. Our daycare program focuses on socialization, exercise, and mental stimulation in a structured environment with a skilled team and small class sizes. Our boarding services provide a comfortable environment for dogs of all sizes, with each dorm offering a comfortable sofa bed and individual lockers for pets. We also offer a variety of grooming services and enrichment courses, including crafts, an agility course, music, and command training. Our team is Pet First Aid and CPR trained and we prioritize the safety and well-being of every pet in our care. We also partner with local rescue groups and donate a portion of our annual revenue to Service Dogs Alabama. Tours are encouraged and welcomed, with no appointment needed. The health and safety of every pet is our number one concern, and we require completed vaccines before allowing fur babies on campus. We do not require spaying or neutering for day care or boarding, and intact dogs are behaviorally observed to ensure they are socially appropriate for group activities. We have off-leash play facilities and provide enrichment activities for your fur baby to enjoy during their stay. You are welcome to pack your pet's favorite toys and food, or we can provide in-house dog food at no additional charge. We also administer medications at no extra cost. Our grooming services include bathing, brushing, eye and ear cleaning, hair trimming, nail trimming, teeth brushing, and more.
