Hampton Inn Wetumpka

"After making reservations online, My Sister and I checked into this hotel at around 3:30p.m Saturday February 3,2024, The young lady at the front desk was very nice, friendly and professional, She made the transaction so smooth, and really made us feel very welcome, We stayed on the second floor and I have to admit the building was very well kept, everything looked very nice, and it was so quiet, Once we opened the door to our room, We were more than impressed, out of all the Hampton's that I have stayed in this was truly the best one, we had Double beds that slept so comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful and well stocked with towels and also had a beautiful sliding glass door, I also have to mention that when we walked into the room the temperature was perfect, Since we only needed a room for one day and decided that we would get up early that morning, so my sister could have her morning coffee, Once we made it downstairs to the Breakfast area, We definitely was impressed the young lady that was preparing all the food, made sure that everyone that walked into the area felt welcome, and knew that the special for that morning was the Red Velvet Waffles and then I knew we were Heaven bound, There was also Bacon, Roasted Red Potatoes, Eggs, Grits, Oatmeal, Cereal, Milk, Juice's, Apples, Oranges, Banana's, Muffins and the best Marbled Cake that I have ever had, The Bacon was cooked to perfection and we over indulged, I also had the Red potatoes and they were outstanding. The lady that was preparing everything would come out and replenish what was needed and made everyone feel alright about over eating and we also felt so welcomed, Thanks to the entire staff at Hampton Inn Wetumpka, For being Outstanding."

"The young lady at the front desk was so helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom had a full tub; Something that you don't see hardly ever anymore. The breakfast selection was pretty decent for a "2 star" hotel. We were there to Gamble, the casino is a less than 5 minute drive away. For its location, I'd say it should be categorized as a 3.5 star hotel."

"The Hotel was immaculate. The whole stay was amazing. The customer service is the best I have encountered in years. The breakfast was like being at home. The quality of the sheets were great. I will definitely be staying @this Hampton Inn again"

"Not great, not horrible. The room was not the cleanest. The toilet could’ve used a good scrub (the bowl was grubby inside and out), dirty fingerprints all over, stains on furniture, lots of dust. The toilet paper roll holder was broken - half of it was missing so the roll was ‘jammed’ on the remaining post. Just lazy maintenance - it would be a 5-minute fix. There was a musty smell in the room, too. On the positive side, the room was large. Good water pressure in the shower and it was a clean, spacious walk-in. The bed was good, if a bit on the too-firm side. Great location too - only minutes away from the small but vibrant downtown area. The front desk personnel were friendly - I’m fairly confident if I asked for a different room I would’ve received one. But it was only one night and I didn’t want to go through the hassle. Breakfast was ok, but the “hot” food in the warmer was lukewarm at best. Certainly not proper serving temperature. For the one night it was “fine”, but I likely won’t return to this hotel."
