"I went to Croniers to have a link removed from a watch that I bought at a different location. I asked the first man who looked at it how much he would charge to do this, he clearly stated 10 dollars, my companion heard it as well...the man gave my watch to another man who did the work. The watch was made to fit and the man said, "That will be 20 dollars," I told him the first guy said 10, he stated (very loudly) "Oh no, I'm pretty certain he said 20 and HE is an honest man...implying for all in the store to hear, that I was not being honest. ....I was a bit embarrassed so I paid what he said was the charge...and left before I lost my temper. It is NOT the 10 dollars...I thankfully am able to afford that...it was the loud implication that I was lying that lost Cronies a future customer...and anyone else who cares to hear how I was treated."

"I needed an insurance appraisal on a bracelet a few years ago that was a gift and I didn't have any idea of the value. I took it to one jeweler who had a lot of trouble determining if the stones were natural or lab created, which didn't matter to me. I took it to Cronier's and they got me the appraisal quickly and they did a great job. The selection of jewelry in the store is fantastic. They have very fine quality items and the service was very good."
