We are closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas. "Very impressed with the experience I had here! I was able to schedule an appointment for the next business day and had even been offered same day appointment! My dog was not super cooperative, being a GSD in a new environment, and everyone respected that. It's the first time I didn't receive a behavior training recommendation because there was a genuine understanding that it was a situational anxiety and not lack of effort on my part. I let them know my dog has an issue with room entry if she establishes presence first. (especially if my husband or myself is with her because then she feels like she has to save us from strangers and gets a little spicy.) They accommodated her needs and understood that she wouldn't let them approach, which was likely due to me being in the room. Typically, I hand her off to do an exam alone. She will protest initially, but if we are out of sight, then whoever holds the leash is her new best friend, and she is far more reasonable. I didn't want to overwhelm her, so I stayed with her while she processed the new area and scents. I truly appreciate how knowledgeable everyone is here with dog behaviors and understanding breed traits and unique personality! Thank you so much for your kindness and making the process easier for Miss Arcadia!"
