"Not good. Never got to a room after I was admitted. Having my first severe asthma attack ever at 57 I was moved to another room in a far back corner where I only saw a nurse when they gave me my meds every 4 hours and respiratory as well. My BP was through the roof and oxygen low so the monitors never stopped beeping. No one ever came in to turn them off or checked on me ever it took me five hours to get a glass of water know whenever refilled it I filled it up myself. My head was pounding from the blood pressure maybe the meds I had asked several times for a Tylenol. I would get one at a time. I ended up with two through the whole 24 hours I was there. I never got my regular meds that I take which also adds to headaches. I asked several times and he said no you take it in the morning I said no I take it at night, and then the other med he was going to get me he never did give me I asked again and again he goes no I just didn’t get it and that was the end of that he saw my blood pressure was extremely high. Left the room to go tell the doctor and no one came back for six hours until my meds were due again, but that’s that was six hours later two hours late to actually getting the meds on time and that’s cause I paged him because I needed another Tylenol then I got my second Tylenol, no food was offered. Thank God for my family who brought stuff in I had to go ask for some crackers from a desk which they complied then about 3:30 in the morning the nurse comes in for the second time and says I need to move you to the hallway because someone needs your monitor , I said OK but then she saw my blood pressure and oxygen level and she says never mind leaves me goes to the next room grabs an old man out, sticks him in the hallway, but never comes back to check on me because of my blood pressure if she would’ve moved me to the hall, I would’ve left that hospital and ran out the door because my head was pounding so bad I could’ve stayed up out in that bright hallway it was the worst service I’ve ever had in my life especially the last male nurse at the second shift. Clearly you were overworking your staff so they cannot take care of the patients. Clearly your hospital doesn’t have enough rooms to accommodate your patients to leave people that need to be in a room and not in an ER situation. I will not recommend your hospital, and I’m not will not be returning if I don’t have to."

"My visit at the urgent care facility was a positive one. The office was empty - which was great for me with my terrible cough. The receptionist, medical assistant and the nurse practitioner I seen were all very friendly and helpful. The RN wasn’t as friendly as the others but was not rude in anyway. Just seemed a little tired/ annoyed. I appreciate the care I was given, they listened to my concerns and diagnosed me accordingly. I especially like Abigail’s bedside manner. She didn’t rush my visit or make me doubt my symptoms. She accurately diagnosed me."

"Front desk was less than friendly, waited 45 minutes for the doctor to come and GOOGLE my daughters rash right in front of me, then make a phone call, the proceeded to diagnose her with hand foot mouth purely on the basis of her age. The rash looks absolutely nothing like hand foot mouth (I work at a school and I am very familiar with HFM) and he looked at her for less than 30 seconds. Absolutely awful experience I have never ever had a doctor pull out his iPhone to google before. I could have done that, in fact I DID do that and came up with a better answer than he did. Save your time and your money and do not go here. South valpo immediate care is the place to go! We will never ever be back here. *** I will say the nurse was extremely kind and much more helpful than the male Doctor was"

"I feel I was taking care of once I got to see a doctor but the waiting time was a bit rough. I got there about 10:15 and it was way over an hour before I even got to see a doctor. I saw two people get up and come to the receptionist and tell her they have to leave they can't wait any longer. Once I was taken to the examination room everything was fine and I was taking care of."

"The front desk lady was very rude and didn’t seem to care about the patient, she had an off putting demeanor and made me not want to come back. Dr crayne (the nurse practitioner) was very nice, sweet and helpful. I have been there before and had the same experience. Basically if you can make it past the front desk people without leaving, you will be fine."
